My senior year of college (2000-2001), I was the "scribe" for Twain House, the dormitory where I lived. My duties were to attend House Meeting every Wednesday night, then summarize the week's events for the 90% of residents who chose to skip the meeting. The (supposedly) weekly notes were posted in every bathroom in the dorm, so a captive audience was ensured. I started out writing the notes with the intent of informing while entertaining my audience; as the year progressed, my goal shifted to informing while abusing my audience. There's a definite progression from "unusual, but somewhat funny" to "cruelly avante garde" throughout the year; if the earlier entries leave you unamused, skip ahead to the latter half of the year. I certainly had a good time - I can't speak for the other residents.
